Life got even more complicated and busy during this semester. After several years of volunteering for the Hope Women’s Resource Center in Pine Bluff, I accepted a position as Director of Development. This position meant that I would be using my degree education professionally. My responsibilities included grant writing, donor and underwriter communication in print and digital media, and volunteer communication. This position required me to decline teaching and graduate assistantship and gave me only time for one course and I chose to retake Grant Writing.
