Advanced Nonfiction

The writing completed for this class is some of my favorite. In fact, one of the essays, “Let Go and Fly,” was accepted and published in the 2018 issue of the  Rhetoric and Writing Department's publication, Quills & Pixels. The first assignment was to answer the question: Who Am I? The theme of my response centered around my love of running or jogging. From there, the following essays written for flash nonfiction digital forums kept a similar theme--running. Another part of the course was to create a personal website where I posted responses to readings using the same running theme. The format of writing for this course is concise and short, less than the a couple of pages. Writing and submitting to digital forums improved my ability to write to for a variety of rhetorical situations and use appropriate strategies, and to deliver texts using technology.
